Yep, I'll come and show 'em what I've got.

Friday, May 29, 2009 at 8:51PM An ultra-mini session with this darling. Those catch-lights were just dying to be photographed!

Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 6:29PM This Family: Pleasant, Loving, Fun, Beautiful, Smart, could all stay still and look at the camera all at the same time - I'm am sooo years away from that! :) - Obviously the parents have fostered happiness in their children.

Okay, I love this pose below. The adorable boy said, "How about we do this?" I said, "Perfect."

Then Dad showed-up, in his leathers, and was so proud of his son who learned to ride a bike that very day.

Of course, Dad's bike is the ulitmate of all bikes...

Monday, May 18, 2009 at 7:49PM The rest from the shoot with those gorgeous boys. I LOVE these faces. I could post and post and post the images of their faces. I'll just pick a few.

Later that night, our "It Feels Like Summer" Softball game. I love this one below, of the girls in the dug-out. There is something about that fence that makes them feel that they are in their own world. There is also something about that fence that allows the parents to listen in on delightful 8 year old conversations.
And, an up-date on The Haircut. :)

And finally (from my now 3rd post from tonight!) a photo I find hilarious. What a delightful ham!

Monday, May 18, 2009 at 7:13PM I took my two oldest to NYC with my parents this past weekend. There is just something about that place! After the exciting train ride, my mom and I went to Wicked. Loved it. My dad took the girls to the M&M mega-store, the Toys R Us extravaganza, had caricature drawn of them... they'll never forget it. Here are just a few from our special weekend.

The girls bought turtles on Canal Street and showed them to the Statue of Liberty.

Monday, May 18, 2009 at 6:39PM Last week I had the great opportunity to mentor with two top photographers (Shannon Sewell from Portland & Fred Egan from Houston) in Philadelphia. What a privilege to learn from such talented artists. I met some other fantastic and very talented up and coming photographers, watch for future links to their stuff! Here are a few from the shoots.

Since there were five of use shooting at the same time, I decided to take a different perspective on the couple. The gal was delightful and sweet. The gal is usually the focal point, so I wanted to capture the coolness of the guy. And he was cool.

Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10:05PM This shoot was so great... I mean LOOK at these boys! Just fou for now. Lots more to come!

Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 6:35PM After school yesterday, the kids and I stayed to play at the playground as we do on all possible days. About 20 minutes into playing, a truck and trailer pulled-up and out trotted... a Petting Zoo!!
Luckily I had my camera in the car and snapped a few.

That goat is FOUR Days Old!!

I think I was a farm animal photographer in another life, or at least a cowgirl.
My oldest daughter once said to me, "Mom, when I grow-up I'm going to marry a cowboy and he's NOT going to be allergic to cats!"

Watching his sister getting her picture taken...from a boat, with a bag of popcorn.

Earlier in the day, checking-out the location of our Monday shoot (and gathering eggs.)
Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 10:15PM This is for Real--for REAL!

Above, he's picking the best flower to throw to the dog swimming by in the pond!

Then we went down-town

And earlier in the day, playing in the dirt. Digging in the dirt, just to dig in the dirt is a new one in our family. I love it.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 3:27PM These are the best, kindest, most enjoyable kids you could ever meet. I Adore their mother and love to hear them all talk about their wonderful father. My kids LOVE this family and we will all miss them terribly when we move across the country this summer.

Special Thanks to My Sweet Assistant who held the reflectors up just right.

Friday, April 10, 2009 at 8:01PM Gorgeous, sweet, kids. The chemistry and good nature of these sibs made for a slick shoot in an artsy New England town. This is one thing I will miss when we move to California in July. (more on that news later!)

I thought this posing below was hilarious. I just suggested that they strike a pose and this is what they did.

Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 5:43PM Let's get this party started! Here's just one from the first shoot of Spring. It is Spring, right? (More to come.)
Friday, March 13, 2009 at 6:46AM You'd think that a place where a child must keep his voice down and his steps slow, would be a drag; but, somehow, these libarians have created a wonderland for the children in this community. Murals on each wall, the well lit room of picture books, the cheerful and kind libarians. If ever we are driving by without stopping, I'll tell the kids to close their eyes and imagine this or that to keep my toddler from crying to go to the "lib ary".

And, just for fun, we recently found this picture taken in Budapest, Hugary at the zoo. I don't know how we missed it when up-loading the trip pictures in the first place.

Although flawed in composition, I love thisof a Father-daughter walk down the pier. She floats as she enjoys the special time with Dad.

I've been going through the pictures on the old computer and applying new processing to some of them. Here are a few, taken on simple but special days for me. Maybe the sun peaked-out from behind the clouds after weeks of dreariness, or the kids were creating a particularly funny play.

Below, I LOVE this picture, but I wish she hadn't chosen such pink lip-gloss...sigh.

The kids had a choice: Beach with Dad for an extra hour, or to Town for a photo shoot with me first. We each got two.
