Every Child Loves the Library...

You'd think that a place where a child must keep his voice down and his steps slow, would be a drag; but, somehow, these libarians have created a wonderland for the children in this community.   Murals on each wall, the well lit room of picture books, the cheerful and kind libarians.  If ever we are driving by without stopping, I'll tell the kids to close their eyes and imagine this or that to keep my toddler from crying to go to the "lib ary".

And, just for fun, we recently found this picture taken in Budapest, Hugary at the zoo. I don't know how we missed it when up-loading the trip pictures in the first place.

A Sunday Stroll on the Beach

 

Although flawed in composition, I love thisof a Father-daughter walk down the pier.  She floats as she enjoys the special time with Dad.

I've been going through the pictures on the old computer and applying new processing to some of them. Here are a few, taken on simple but special days for me.  Maybe the sun peaked-out from behind the clouds after weeks of dreariness, or the kids were creating a particularly funny play.

Below, I LOVE this picture, but I wish she hadn't chosen such pink lip-gloss...sigh.

Another Favorite Place: Puerto Rico

The kids had a choice: Beach with Dad for an extra hour, or to Town for a photo shoot with me first. We each got two.

Another Little Shirley Temple to Love!

Okay, I'm working on a shoot of this Adorable little girl and had to share just this first one... more to come!

With this post, I also Must add these shots I got the other day, inaguration day, driving around this fantastic village.  We found this snowman, or shall I say, "Snow Gentleman".  The name plate on the perfect yellow house includes the date 1835! Very cool.  After snapping a few "buddy" shots, I Had to capture the perspective of not only the snowgentleman, but also one of my favorite things about this village: The American Flags on the front porches down the street.

Just Getting Out of the House

With another storm on the way, the babies and I spent the day outside looking for puddles, birds, anything they found interesting.

Now the little puppies at www.goldendoodlepuppylove.blogspot.com are 4 weeks old and I wanted to up-date their blog. (read: an excuse to go play with these adorable puppies).
